Welcome to the Nelson - Dabkowski Family History Narrative. This is the result of the genealogical research of Gerald Edward Nelson and others, showing the ancestors of Gerald and of his wife Dorothy Dabkowski Nelson.
The format is relatively free-form and based on the "Hypertext Indented Narrative" pedigree format developed by Mark Humfrys. Each family will have a page devoted to it. The page will include the head of the family, spouse(s) and children along with photos, history information, etc. The names of husbands and wives will have links to their respective parent's pages, while children's names will have links to their family pages. By convention, a person's pre-nuptial information will be found on the parent's page, while post-nuptial information will be found on the page of their married family. Sources will be identified with footnote links like this: [1] and will usually connect to a page of sources common to a particular branch of the family tree. Living person information will be restricted to bare essentials, since the information presented here is open to everyone. |
